Obituary
Estacada resident, Zack Briant, died suddenly in an auto accident on May 31, 2021. He was 18 years old. A celebration of Zack’s life will be held at a later date. Zachary Mikkal Briant was born January 26, 2003 in Portland to Joseph Ahre and Mary Briant. He was raised in the Portland and Hubbard area before moving to Estacada 6 years ago. Zack attended Estacada High School where he played football. Zack enjoyed going to the skate park, basketball, football, swimming, cliff jumping, riding bikes and music. Survivors include his mother, Mary Briant; Father, Joe Ahre; siblings, Lillie Briant, Taylor Briant, Isiah Gibson, Cody Eckman, Gavin Delazerda; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
