Obituary

Willie Milo Schlaht passed away on July 4th, 2021. He was born on October 4th, 1941 to Edwin and Emilia Schlaht in Bismarck, North Dakota. 

Willie joined the Air Force and served from 1960 to 1964. In 1972, he moved to Boring, Oregon and went to work for the Oregon Department of Transportation until he retired in 1999.

Willie's hobbies were fishing, hunting and playing at the casino.

He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sandy.

Willie is survived by his sons Frank J Schlaht of Sandy, Eddie Schlaht of Goldendale, Washington, Willy Schlaht of Gresham, Shane Schlaht of Boring and daughter Shelley Martinez of Estacada, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be a service at Willamette National Cemetery on July 22nd, 2021 at 10:30 am, followed by a gathering at Willie's house in Boring.
