Bill Albert Lively, Sr.
December 17, 1948 ~ March 20, 2024 (age 75)
William “Bill” Albert Lively, Sr., 75 of Fort Oglethorpe went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at his home. He was born on December 17, 1948 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a son of the late James Lloyd Lively and Maxine Duncan Lively. He worked for many years in the trucking industry as a safety supervisor and was a member at Parkway Baptist. Bill enjoyed watching Tennessee Football, reading and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry “Buddy” Lively.
Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Janice Lively; son, Bill (Jennifer) Lively, Rossville; brother, Bob (Diane) Lively, Boca Raton, FL; sisters, Norman Jean Payne, Rossville and Dorothy Ann (Jimmy) Saul, Hixson; granddaughters, Emily (Brandon) Johnson, Rossville and Savannah (Brannon) Owens, Ringgold; along with eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. David Sampson, Lamar Jones and Rob Borders officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
The family will receive friends 4-8 PM Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
