Obituary
Longtime Estacada resident, Bill Eaton, died on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in Estacada. He was 77.
A celebration of his life will be held from 2pm – 4pm Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Estacada Community Center.
William Arthur Eaton Jr. was born March 13, 1942 in Portland, Oregon to William and Darlene (Ware) Eaton, Sr. He was raised in Portland where he graduated from Madison High School. At age 19, he went to work for Peco. where he worked until his death after 58 years. On January 17, 1970, Bill married Sammy Davis. They lived in Portland until 1995 when they moved to Estacada.
Bill was a hard worker and enjoyed riding motorcycles, sailing, fishing, black powder shooting and being in the outdoors. He was a longtime member of the Old Coots motorcycle club.
Survivors include his wife Sammy; mother, Darlene Eaton; daughter, Maria Wholly; stepdaughters, Deb Stanley, Marlisa Michaelis; stepsons, Randy, David and Jon Gladfelder; numerus grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, William A Eaton Sr., son, Bill Eaton, stepson, Garth Gladfelder; and sister, Linda Doty.
