Obituary
Ms. Susan Carol Fouts, Indianapolis, peacefully passed away on March 5, 2024. She was 63. Sue was born January 23, 1961 in Beech Grove, Indiana, a daughter of the late George and Barbara Jean (Yager) Fouts, Jr. She dedicated 35 years to the Indianapolis Public School Board's maintenance department before retiring due to disability. Sue was a proud graduate of Emmerich Manual High School and cherished her family and the moments shared with friends.
An avid advocate for dogs, Susan's love for them was boundless. Her passions also included computer activities, casino outings and the tranquility of fishing. She found joy in family visits and the warmth of sitting by the fire, roasting hot dogs.
Sue is survived by her siblings: Bob Fouts, Larry (Tina) Fouts, Kathy (Jeff) Hawkins, Craig Fouts, David Fouts and Russell Fouts. She leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Sue is preceded in passing by her parents, George Fouts Jr. and Barbara Jean (Van Horn) Yeager; an infant brother, Dennis Fouts and her nephews, Brian Fouts and Russell Fouts Jr.
Susan's memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
For those choosing to make a memorial contribution in Sue’s memory, the family has suggested those be offered to the Humane Society of Marion County.
There will be no public services.
