Obituary
Steven “Steve” Leroy Foley, Camby, IN, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, He was 66 years old. Steve was born in Indianapolis, IN to his parents Emil and Mary Foley. He graduated from Mooresville High School. Steve married his wife, Peggy (Disney), on August 16, 2003, and they shared 22 years of marriage together.
Steven worked for Automotive Armature as a supervisor for many years until he began working for Theising Veneer as a machine operator. Steve began working when he was fifteen years old; contributing more than 45 years to the workforce during his life. Steve was a mechanic who loved motorcycles and his 69’ green Chevy truck. Steve loved wearing interesting accessories including his beloved “need more sleep” baseball hat. Steve was a beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed by those he leaves behind.
Steve is survived by his wife, Peggy Disney Foley; his children, Steven Foley, Jaden Foley, Donnie Disney, and Darius Disney; his grandchildren, Amelia Foley, Everleigh Foley, and Theodore Foley; his siblings, Patty (David) Jones, Walter (Debera) Carlisle, David (Pauletta) Carlisle, Bobby (Connie) Carlisle, and James (Rebecca) Carlisle; his nephews, Mark Carlisle, Tony Jones, and several others.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, David Carlisle; his nephew, Chris Jones.
A graveside service for Steve will be held at a later date at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
