Obituary

”BUDDED ON EARTH TO BLOOM IN HEAVEN”
Shirley Gaskin, 77, of Mooresville, IN was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on July 24, 2023. She was born March 18, 1946 to the late Nora Glass in Jamestown, Kentucky.
Shirley attended George Washington High School in Indianapolis and married her husband, Roscoe, in 1962 and for nearly 63 years they were inseparable. You rarely saw one without the other. 
Shirley and Roscoe moved to Indiana to build their life and start their family. They
welcomed a daughter, Diana, and one granddaughter, Emily.
Shirley loved sewing, painting, and gardening, and would relax by watching Rawhide or Hummingbirds with a strong cup of coffee.
Shirlay was preceded in death by her mother, Nora Glass; brothers, James Cundiff and Earl Scott; sisters-in-law, Mary Frances Shepperd and Jerry Rexroat as well as a few nieces and nephews.
Shirley is already greatly missed here on earth by her loving husband, Roscoe Gaskin; daughter Diana Gaskin; granddaughter Emily (Casey) Burdine; sister, Sue (James) Qualls;
brother, Paul David (Estella) Scott; brother in law, Phillip (Helen) Gaskin as well as several nieces and nephews.
Brother David Ball led her service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Monday, July 31, 2023 and she was laid to rest following the service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
