Obituary

Milwaukie resident Sharon Buhlinger died at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. She was 59.

A celebration of her life will be held on November 17, 2018 at Kingpins Bowling Alley, 3550 SE 92nd Avenue, Portland, 97266, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Sharon Elizabeth Buhlinger was born January 21, 1959 in Portland to Paul and Myrtle (McDonald) Buhlinger. She was raised in Eagle Creek and graduated from Estacada High School in 1977. She later graduated from Portland State University and worked there for the remainder of her career. She retired from her role as chief fiscal officer after 30 years.

Sharon enjoyed traveling, scrapbooking, sewing and many other crafts. She liked being in the outdoors and was an avid walker, rarely missing her 10,000 steps per day.

Survivors include her companion, Herman Migliore; sisters Kathy Gleason of Portland, Lois Copenhagen of Canby; Linda Siegert of Tualatin, six nieces and nephews; one great nephew; and her cats Red and Hiba. She was preceded in death by her brothers Wayne and Tom.

While looking at Sharons picture I was impressed by her sweet innocent smile. I’m sure she will be missed by all those who saw that smile in person. May all be comforted by God’s promise of a time when death will be no more. Revelation 21:3,4. A time when those who have died will come back to life in a beautiful paradise. Psalm 37:10,11 Joyce
