Obituary

Gresham resident, Sandi Lewis, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, April 15, 2021. She was 63 years old. A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Estacada First Baptist Church in Estacada. Born November 10, 1957 to Herbert and Dorothy Trif. She was raised in SE Portland and went to high school at Franklin High School and graduated in 1976. She had various jobs in accounting before going to work for Blue Cross Blue Shield where she was a senior accountant for 18 years. She retired due to illness in 1997. She enjoyed life never complained. She always just “goes with the flow.” She liked cooking, skiing, the beach, music, dancing, animals. She loved God and her family. Survivors include her daughter, Nicole Lewis; sons, Michael Lewis-Bell, Daniel Lewis-Bell, Anthony Freeman, Joseph Freeman; sister, Sharon (Terry) Wooten, brother, Earl (Theresa) Curtis; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandson and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her daughter, Brittany Lee Freeman, her parents and grandparents.
