Obituary
Gresham resident, Richard Douglas, died at his home on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. He was 63 years old. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Richard Lee Douglas was born February 8, 1957 in Portland, Oregon to Robert and Mary (Earp) Douglas. He was raised in Portland and spent his summers with his grandparents in Prineville, Oregon. Rick graduated from Cleveland High School in 1975. He went to work for Tri-met as a mechanic and worked his whole working career there. Rick married Kay Craven in Troutdale on December 4, 1993. Rick enjoyed playing softball and bowling. He liked camping and going to the beach. Most of all he enjoyed his working and being with his family. Survivors include his wife Kay Douglas, daughters, Shawna (Will) Runells, Makayla (Eryk) Jensen; sister, Roberta (Jerry) Sound; grandchildren, Ashley and Jake Runells, Maddox and Oliver Jensen; nieces, Jennifer Keane and Mary Sound.
