Obituary

Ricardo Lee "Rick" Miers, 67 passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023. He was born to the late Loren L. Miers and Margaret (Alexander) Kissner. 

Rick was an electrical contractor for most most of his life.  He ultimately started his own business in 2011.  Rick enjoyed most outdoor activities like fishing, camping and boating. He also enjoyed tinkering around and working on projects in his barn. He was a great cook and loved gardening & canning. 

Rick is survived by his three children Melissa (Daniel) Carmin, Josh Miers and Michael Miers; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; his longtime companion Terri Williams; mother Margaret Kissner and a sister Kim (Gregg) Miers-Hohlt. He is preceded in death by his dad Loren Miers and his brother Douglas Miers.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Monday, March 6, 2023 will be visitation between 12:00 - 1:00 PM with services immediately following at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ben Franklin Chapel. Rick will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with full military honors.
