Obituary
Rhoda J. King, 88, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away on May 9, 2022. Rhoda was born in Louisville, Kentucky and was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where she met and married the love of her life Harold. Together, Harold and Rhoda created a beautiful family of five children and settled into a blessed life in Ormond Beach, Florida. Later they moved to Holton, Indiana then to Palm Coast. Rhoda retired from Interstate Brands in Indiana and she worked at Russell Stover Outlet in Palm Coast. Rhoda will be remembered for her love of serving in the church food pantry and being an active member of the First Baptist Church Bunnell.
Rhoda was preceded in death by her beloved husband Harold, her son Ronald, brothers Leslie and Rudolph and sister Virginia. She leaves behind her daughters Cheryl (Robert), Carol (David) Mackey of Florida, Donna (Doug) Furst, and Sandy (Joe) Sporleder both of Indiana and a nephew she helped raise David (Teresa) Lawrence of Indiana and her nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Services for Rhoda will be held on Monday May 16, 2022 with a funeral service beginning at 12:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Bunnell and visitation will be from 10:00 am until start of service. Interment will be at Daytona Memorial Park after the funeral service. Donations in Rhoda's name may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bunnell 2301 Commerce Pkwy. Bunnell, Florida 32110.
