Obituary
Rebecca D. Lynch, 69 of Indianapolis IN passed on Thursday, March 28, 2024. She was born on December 18, 1954 to the late Marion and Clara (Tibbetts) Poteet.
Rebecca graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1973 with honors and then attended Ivy Tech. She worked at Central Hardware as a cashier and also Banquet Dairy as a head cashier. She then worked at Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Chase Bank. Her last job was at the Archdiocese as a bookkeeper.
Rebecca married Donald Lynch in 1981 in Las Vegas. They had one son Timothy Lynch. Rebecca moved back to the family home in 1993 after her father died .
Rebecca is survived by her son Timothy Lynch; brothers Ralph (Joan) Poteet, Gary (Alice) Poteet and Richard Poteet. She is preceded in death by her parents
Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Noon until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 2:00PM at the funeral home. Rebecca will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
