Obituary
Patti Mace, age 67, passed away on April 19th, 2024 at her home in Muncie, Indiana, surrounded by family. Patti was born on July 8th, 1956 in Muncie, Indiana and was the daughter of Kermit and Anna “Lucille” Riggins.
Patti had a passion for gardening and flowers. She also loved going to rock and country concerts, going out to eat, and fishing. She was very family oriented and loved to spend time with her grandkids. She used to babysit her grandchildren and would always be at their sporting events.
Patti is survived by her son, Jonathan Hill (wife Erica); stepsons Josh and Jeremy Hill; a brother, Jeff Riggins (Sandy); sister-in-law Lydia Riggins; her partner of 12 years, Dale “Slug” Bartels; her grandchildren, Joleigh Hill, Kendyn Hill, Madeline Hill, MacyAnn Hill, Molly Hill, Morgan Hill, and Collen Hill; and her dog, Izzy, who was always by her side for the past 13 years.
Patti was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit and Anna “Lucille” Riggins and a brother, Greg Riggins.
Services for Patti will be held at Garden View Funeral Home on Friday, April 26th, 2024. A visitation will take place from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM, officiated by Dr. Rusty Clements. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery after the funeral service.
