Patricia Ann Stringham

Obituary

Patricia Ann Stringham passed away on July 4th, 2023, in Crescent City, California. She was a resident of Fort Dick, California since 1975.
Patricia was born in Detroit, Michigan to Leata May Reynolds and Earl Johnson Lindsay. She married Thomas Leon Stringham in 1951 and they had six children between 1955 and 1961.
Patricia earned her bachelor’s degree in social science from Humboldt State University in 1976 and worked as a probation officer for Del Norte County until 1989. She was awarded Woman of the Year in 1985 by the Del Norte Chapter of the American Businesswomen’s Association.
Patricia loved to travel and research her family’s genealogy. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her three sons: Rex, Guy, and Jeff Stringham; 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; infant son, Roy; and daughters Carrie Hurt and Laurie Lee.
A Memorial service will be held at the United Methodist Church in Crescent City on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 2:00 pm.
