In Loving Memory of

Patricia Ellen Ehlen

December 26th, 1964 - July 19th, 2025

Obituary

Patti Ellen Ehlen, born to Ace Koch and Derlene Bishop was preceded in death by her mother Derlene and her sister Debra. She is survived by her father and younger brother Dan.

Her earliest years were spent in Cattrell before moving to Oakridge, Oregon where the majority of her youth was spent.

The year before she graduated high school, her family moved back to the Portland area. After graduation, Patti did what most do: lived and worked with all of its ups and downs.

Then, in 1996, she met a guy named Mark (that would be me). We made such a great connection on that first date that after eight days we were engaged to be married a year later.

From that first date, Patti was my best friend and partner for 29 years. I miss her every day! As do all of our family and friends.

With love,
Mark Ehlen

Mark,
I am so saddened to learn this, and send you hugs and prayers for God's grace and peace to be abundant as you move forward.

Patti was a good friend through out Junior high and high school. She was so sweet kind and always had a warm smile just at the time you needed it. When I think of Patti so many memories come flooding back. The one that sticks out in my mind was when she invited me and Mary to come up and watch a football game after she had moved away! Such good times. Evelyn Cole
Patti had the best laugh, she would laugh then it would get us all started. And that woman loved Mark! She was in love with him, not just loved him. It was an inspiration to me. She always made time for the class reunions or get togethers, do I was lucky to get to know her as an adult too. She was kind and loving and I honestly never heard her complain about anything or anyone. She had the kindness heart. Those get togethers won’t be the same without her brightness, and I hope Mark keeps coming because he is part of the gang now. Shannon Shannon McPherson
