Obituary – Nancy Moore Taylor – February 2, 1952 – March 9, 2024

Nancy Moore Taylor of Palm City, FL, passed away in her sleep on Saturday March 9, 2024 at the age of 72. The youngest of 4 children, she grew up in Cedar Grove, NJ where she had her first job as a Lifeguard at the Cedar Grove Community Pool.

She went to high school at Mount St Dominic Academy and proceeded to Douglas College where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Math with a minor in Education. She taught high school math for two years in Burlington, NJ and then continued her education at Rutgers – Newark receiving her MBA with a concentration in accounting. Soon after, she joined Coopers and Lybrand and passed all elements of the CPA exam on the first try. She later moved on to work for The General Mills Toy Group during the development of Strawberry Shortcake and the licensing of Stars Wars. She then spent several years outside Chicago working for Baxter International.
She loved the water, be it ocean, lake, or river. And she had a knack for computers and technology, even taking a course on how to build your own computer. She loved arts and crafts and was very comfortable with many challenging DYI projects. And when she was limited by Rheumatoid Arthritis she was always ready to supervise.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Michael of Palm City, FL, her daughter Jennifer Taylor and husband Daniel Klemens Jr. of Great Falls, VA, her brother, William H. Moore III and wife Jean of Seaside Park, NJ, and two sisters, Bonnie Schulaner of Port St. Lucie, FL, Patricia Chesnaky and husband David of Manasquan, NJ. She held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, Bradley, Kaitlin and Juliet.
