Obituary

Miriam Adkins Edwards, 99, born in Brighton, from Alabaster passed away peacefully on March 19, 2024. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Harry B. Edwards, her brothers Gene Adkins and Paul Adkins and grandson George Edwards Jr. 
    She is survived by her three sons; William L. Jones Jr., George E. Edwards Sr., and Jesse A. Edwards. Three grandchildren, Laura Dawson, spouse Billy, Gretchen Jones, spouse Bob, Erin McGrarrah, spouse Blake, seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
    Miriam was a friend to so many. She was an award winning gardener, she belonged to garden clubs in both Orange Beach and Fairfield. Miriam had a great life and will be truly missed. 
    Visitation service will be  at Valhalla Funeral home, Thursday 12:30 - 1:30 burial to follow 1:30 - 2:00
