Obituary
Michael David Terrell, known by most as Mick, age 81, passed away on March 21, 2024 with family by his side. Mick was born September 21, 1942 in Muncie, IN to parents Gordon and Thelma Terrell.
Mick was known for his hog roasts that people loved. He cooked hogs for many events for over 40 years. He loved sports, especially Nascar racing and the Indianapolis Colts. He loved taking his wife for long rides just enjoying time together. His passion was spending time with his 4 granddaughters. He and his beagle Jake were inseparable. Mick often took Jake to McDonald’s for a hamburger or ice cream. Until his illness he loved playing cards with his friends at the Yorktown Legion.
Mick is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Annetta. He also leaves behind his sons Brian Terrell (fiancee Michelle) and Jim Beaty; his brothers Larry Terrell (wife Johnna), Terry Terrell (wife Joyce), and Rex Terrell (wife Paula); four granddaughters Macy Schmidt (husband Andrew), Emma Terrell, Grace Terrell, and Ava Terrell; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mick was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Madonna Phelps and Pat Warfel; and four brothers Jerry Terrell, Don Terrell, Gene Terrell, and Richard Terrell.
A celebration of Mick's life will be held at Garden View Funeral Home on Friday, March 29th, 2024. Visitation will take place 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM and the funeral will be at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery after the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ARF (Animal Rescue Fund) at 1209 W Riggin Rd, Muncie, IN 47303.
