Obituary

MaryAnn Kassahn went to meet her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 11, 2021. She was surrounded by love and the holy spirit in her home.

MaryAnn was born April 8, 1947 to Dale and Ardella Ciskie in Wheaton, Minnesota. As a child she most enjoyed visiting her family farm in Rosholt, SD. She admired and loved her Grandma Mary Voss with her whole heart.

MaryAnn married her soul mate Jerome Kassahn September 5, 1962. They moved to Oregon in 1967 where they remained for the rest of their lives. Together they raised six children. They most enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

MaryAnn had many passions in life. God was first and being a Nana was second. She loved her church, bible studies, children’s ministry, her friends and family, reading her bible, working in her garden, cooking, birds, her pets, and many more. She was an incredibly hard-working woman. She earned a degree in Accounting and was very proud of that.

MaryAnn will be most remembered by her steadfast love and faith for the Lord. She leaned on him and trusted in him wholeheartedly. Her family will always remember how fun she was. She loved to laugh!!!

Memories & Tributes

I’m sorry for your loss. Ron Renelt Ron Renelt
MaryAnn will be missed by many. I met MaryAnn in a very difficult time in my life. My husband and I were starting over due to the lagging logging industry. Along with Bob and Beth we all made better lives for ourselves. It meant a lot to have new supporting friends to work with. They turned out to be special friends.

I am so sorry to have missed you here on earth MaryAnn but will meet you , Jerry, Darrell and Bob in heaven someday.
To her family I would like to ask you to carry on as if she is still on earth and never forget the love she had for you.

Sincerely,
Linda Fry-Goachee
