Obituary
Proud Yurok Tribal member, Marilyn Laraine Moore, 71, went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2021, in Crescent City, California. She was born April 2, 1950, in Crescent City, California. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, auntie, sister, and for always loving everyone she came in contact with.
Marilyn enjoyed traditional Gill netting, agate hunting, going for rides in the mountains, and of course, the casino. But, mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her children and taking care of her youngest son.
Marilyn graduated from Del Norte High School in 1968. In her career she was a well-known bar tender in Klamath, California, She was a waitress at many different locations, and a weigh master for the fisheries.
Marilyn was preceeded in death by her parents Wilford (Sandy) Sanderson, Georgia Gist-Sanderson, and nephew Sandy Johnson.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Misteny Weber, Leslie Moore, and Jonathan Moore. Sister, Peggy Sanderson, brothers, Mark Sanderson, and Jr. Sanderson. Grandson, Andrew Weber, and wife Kambri. Great grandchildren, Brant, Ava, Emma and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Marilyn will be greatly missed by many, especially her loving hugs and her great sense of humor.
