Obituary
Maria Isabel Fragueiro was born on January 18, 1946 in Argentina, to parents Jose Maria Fragueiro and Maria Isabel Lawson de Fragueiro. She passed away on December 14, 2022 at Addie Meedom House where she had been residing since 2021.
Maria Isabel graduated from University in Argentina and then became a homemaker by caring for her husband and four children. At the age of 44, she, her husband, and children moved to the United States where they embarked on a brand new life.
Maria Isabel became a licensed massage therapist, and during her 25+ years of work in the field, was able to help many, many people through injuries and terrible chronic pain with her dedicated and loving approach to massaging.
Throughout all the years she was very involved in her church and always strove to grow spiritually and deepen her relationship with the Lord. She guided and motivated many people in her life, not least of all her children, to seek out God in their lives and create a dynamic relationship with Him.
When her memory began to falter and her cognitive abilities declined, she remained steadfast in her faith. She navigated the latter part of her life with grace, cheer, optimism, and love. She never forgot her children, grandchildren, or sons-in-law.
Maria Isabel will always be remembered by those who knew her as a “sweet, sweet lady”. Her children will never forget all the love, care, wisdom, and strength she taught them by example all their lives.
Maria Isabel is predeceased by her father, Jose Fragueiro, her mother, Maria Isabel Lawson de Fragueiro, and her husband, Juan Jose “Fierro” Sola.
She is survived by her daughters, Maria Alejandra Sola, Marcela Maria Sola, Maria Dolores Sola, her son Juan Diego Maria Sola, her brother Jose Maria Fragueiro, as well as multiple grandchildren.
Her smiles, her quirky sense of humor, her love and sweetness will not be forgotten.
She will be missed.
