Marcella Jean Brown
Marci as we called her was born on a Tuesday, February 4, 1958 to first time parents Ralph and Maxine Jennings.
Marci attended various grade schools until attending Grant high school, she finished in Trend college in 1991. She worked many jobs throughout her life from sales to telemarketing, and customer service.
As a child, Marci enjoyed picking flowers and taking them to the neighbors.
Even when she shouldn’t.
She had a passion for Jerry Lewis and his drive with MDA as a kid she would participate in the 20-mile walkathon every year and all the money raised went to Jerry’s kids. as she got older, she would spend her Labor Day weekend sitting around phones, taking pledges on the phone for hours at a time.
She married John Foster and had her first daughter Lacy Foster, April 11, 197. Later marrying again to Steve Murphy, and having their son Jason Murphy on December 22, 1981.
Marci loved animals of all kinds. she loved feeding the wild ones and She was always known to have one of something anywhere from a bird, a snake, or dogs it didn’t matter she loved them all.
She lived in the Portland, Estacada area, but also loved her years living in Alaska in Newport before moving back into Clackamas.
Marci loved to travel. She found her love for cruises. She loved seeing the world all the different cultures all the different excursions abroad.
She loved her friends and was known to be helpful for anyone who needed her.
Marci was full of faith. She loved Jesus Christ and is with him and is in peace now.
She is survived by her mother Maxine Jennings. siblings Scott Jennings, Reva & Ty Lamb children Jason Murphy, and Lacy Foster. Grand children Jessica, Jacob, Kallie and great grandson Jaxon. Nieces Sarah Thompson, Kristine Lamb, Leah Lamb and many cousins.
She will be missed until we meet again.
