Obituary

Estacada Resident, Kym Ferris, passed away suddenly on May 13, 2018, at the age of 50.

Kymberlie Kaye Scott was born September 1, 1967, in Portland, Oregon to Douglas and Dona (VanWinkle) Scott. Kym spent her childhood living all across the US. In later years, she received her GED and attended college at Treasure Valley Community College in Burns, Oregon. For most of her working career, she was a waitress. For the last 2 years, Kym owned a home and lived in Estacada.

Kym loved serving people in all capacities and enjoyed helping people any way she could.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Cady; daughters, Katrina (Tyler) Woods, Kymberlie Ferris, Rachelle Schatz (Jon Freeman); son, Jarod Ferris; Parents Doug and Dona Scott; brothers, Mike, Mark and Steven Scott; sister, Jodi Bravo; many aunts, uncles and cousins and many children that called her mom.
