Obituary

Kristy Marie Swiderski, 30, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on October 25, 2006, in Crescent City, CA. She was born on April 23, 1976, in Soda Springs, Idaho. She was a six-year resident of Del Norte County, coming from Pacifica, CA . She was a 1994 graduate of Pine View High School in St. George, Utah. She was also a graduate of Snow College and attended Southern Utah University, where she was a member of the Executive Council. She was active in basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball, and cross-country running during her high school and college years.

Kristy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints. She served in the Frankfurt, Germany Mission and held various callings in the church. She was a youth soccer coach, Del Norte High School girls basketball coach, and volunteered at her children's local schools. Kristy was a local child care provider as well.

Kristy lived for her children and husband. She enjoyed her family, spending time at the ocean, and helping friends. If there ever was a need, Kristy was always there to help. She enjoyed helping and caring for children, especially. Kristy will always be remembered for her radiant smile and bubbly personality. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
She is survived by Husband of 7 years, Josef Swiderski of Crescent City, CA; Children, Jozef Swiderski and Elsie Swiderski of Crescent City, CA;

Parents Vance and Vindy Casperson of St. George, UT; Parents in law Ed & Marilyn Swiderski of Washington,UT; Siblings & Spouses: Camille & Guy Salisbury of Washington, UT, Candace & Dell Barlow of Washington, UT, Nathan & Jessica Casperson of St. George, UT, Katie & Josh Madsen of Hurricane, UT, Mike & Kim Caperson of Boise, ID and Mathew & Laci Caperson of Boise, ID
Grandparents Mark & Joyce Lewis of Spanish Fork, UT, and Nate & Beth Casperson of Lava Hot Springs, ID. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, extended family, and numerous friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 28th, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Wiers Mortuary Chapel.

Viewing will also be held on Monday, October 30th at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1031 A Street, 10:00 AM, with funeral services to begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow services.

The family requests contributions be made to the Dream Foundation, 1528 Chapala Street, #304, Santa Barbara, CA 93101.
