Obituary
Kathryn David Deeds, 87, of Smock, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 at home, with her loving family surrounding her. She was born at home in Coolspring, PA on August 17, 1936; the youngest child of Dave and Anna "Tatla" David.
Kathryn was a 1954 graduate of North Union High School.
Kathryn was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Gerald “Jerry” Deeds on June 13, 2023. Also predeceased are her parents and her siblings, Sophie Vito, Ann Pratt, Mary Lakin, Dorothy Harper, George David and Bill David.
Surviving are her children, Debbie Cramer of Smock; Gloria (Dave) Seto of Perryopolis; and Anna Deeds of Uniontown. Also surviving are her grandsons, William Cramer of Morgantown, WV and Nick (Justin) Cramer of Coatesville. Also surviving are her grand doggies, Chili and Rex.
Kathryn retired from Sears after 20 years. She had previously worked at Hills. She was a regular volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul in Uniontown. She was an excellent baker and loved to share her delicious baked goodies with everyone. Kathryn also enjoyed being active in her community and in charitable organizations.
Friends and family may call at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401, on Tuesday, March 26 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, with a wake service held at 3:30 PM. The funeral service will be at 10 AM on Wednesday, March 27 at St. George Maronite Church, 6 Lebanon Terrace, Uniontown, PA 15401, with a rosary at 9:30 AM at the funeral home, with Father Aaron Sanbotche officiating.
Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
