Obituary
Judith “Judy” Ann (Phillips) Uebel, 78, passed away peacefully on March 28th, 2024. She was born in Daytona Beach, FL, on January 6th, 1946, to Luther Pharold Jones and Betty Jean Routte Jones.
Judy found joy in cooking big dinners for her family, hosting holiday gatherings, hand-delivering homemade baked goods to everyone she loved, and never missing a ball game for her sons and, later, grandchildren. Her caring heart also extended to her dog and multiple cats that she loved dearly. She was a dedicated Christian, a caring homemaker, and a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Survivors include her sons, Timothy and Tyler Phillips; daughters-in-law, Lisa and Deborah Phillips; sister, Sandra Flynn; brother-in-law, Robert Flynn; grandchildren, Chandler Hodge, Colton Phillips, Skylar Phillips, Tiffany Phillips, Cole Dunagan, and Brittany Phillips; great-grandchildren, Rhett, Ryker, and Rockwell; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Luther Pharold Jones and Betty Jean Routte Jones; husband, Douglas F. Uebel; and son, William Todd Phillips. Those survived find comfort in knowing that she is without pain & suffering, reunited with her beloved son, parents, and husband of 31 years.
A service will be held for family and friends at Lohman’s Funeral Home on Monday, April 8th, at 2:00 p.m., followed by a gravesite ceremony at the Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery and a reception to be held at the home of Tim and Lisa Phillips.
