Obituary

James Walter Moore, 60, born June 10, 1951, Crescent City, California to Robert and Eva Moore, passed away June 9, 2012, Crescent City, California. Jim took pride in being a life long resident of Del Norte County, he attended and graduating from both St. Joseph Catholic School and class of 1969 Del Norte High. Jim worked at Simpson Timber for 20 years as a caterpillar operator, he was a good provider for his family, he grew up in an Irish Catholic family and was the eldest son of 5 siblings. Jim was a skilled outdoors man, who enjoyed playing baseball, softball, basketball, Mycophile, vegetable gardening, gundogs, trail horses, cribbage, canning, wood carving and the Oakland As. Jim loved to help and was one to smile and laugh with anyone, he will be missed by many and was misunderstood by few.

Survivors include daughter Amy Moore of Titusville, Florida, son Brett Moore of Crescent City California; grandchildren Kaylin Moore and Jaycee Greensheilds both of Titusville, Flordia; siblings Nancy Ronjoin, Patricia Moore, Pamelia Gillispe and Michael Moore all of Crescent City, California. Private family services to be held.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wiers Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City, California.
