Obituary

Former Estacada resident, James (Jim) Zenor was found July 22, 2016 and was identified recently. He was 55. A celebration of his life will be held Friday, April 9, 2021 at 12 o’clock pm at Estacada Funeral Chapel. James Dale Zenor was born June 21, 1961 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Robert and Delores (Moore) Zenor. The family moved to Estacada in 1962 where he attended school. For most of his working career, he worked setting chokers and cutting timber. James enjoyed skydiving, camping, and hiking in the woods. He had a great love for nature and traveling, especially the southwestern states and Mexico. Survivors include his daughter, Desiree and her husband Shawn Sonday; sisters, Virginia Worden, Sheryl Golden; brothers, Robert Zenor, Thomas Zenor; and his grandchildren, Logan and Katelin Monize, which were his greatest treasures.

Jim….wow….been trying to find you on and off for a few years….looks like I should have started sooner.
Only knew you a couple years before you moved away, had a great time with you.
Thank you for introducing me to skydiving, glad we swapped photo knowledge.
Wish we could have hung out a little more, you were definitely cool and fun.
