Obituary
Jacob Michael Weasa passed away on March 5, 2021, in Crescent City, California, surrounded by his family. Born in Eureka, California, on May 27, 1991, he was the youngest of six siblings. A free bird, Jacob loved to travel and enjoyed views overlooking the ocean. Sunset orange was his favorite color.
Known for his kind heart, infectious laugh, witty sense of humor, and free spirit, Jacob was extremely giving, and always willing to help someone in need. He was outgoing and friendly with the most amazing smile, and the ability to make the best of any situation. Jake’s favorite quote was "it is what it is." He loved hard and was sentimental about the smallest things like saving notes or small rocks from loved ones.
Our “Jakesters” will be greatly missed by many friends and his loving family. Jacob is survived by his father Kriss Weasa, mother Laurie Davenport, aunt Tina Hammond, grandma Trisha Hammond, brother Anthony Hammond and sister-in-law Jamie, sisters Angela Weasa-Johnson, Amee Weasa-Russel, and Amber Weasa-Goehrung, and brother Christian Scannell. Also, by his nieces and nephews, Anthony II, Aiden, Alyssa, Kiana, Maika, Koa, Kealani, Kailea, Kahana, & River.
Jacob will be buried in the family burial site in Washington State on March 20th
