Obituary

Jack Wisberg passed away on September 26, 2024, peacefully at age 89.

He served in the National Guard and married his late wife, Marian Derby, spending many years on a mountain in Big Sur, CA. Jack and Marian moved to Crescent City in the nineties. He went into assisted living in July of 2022, hoping to regain the strength to return home again to Crescent City.

Jack was always very active, cutting firewood and building sculptures from old plumbing and machine parts he called “junk”. He was a gifted mechanic, machinist, and welder.

His cremains interment will be at Los Osos Valley Memorial Park in Los Osos, California, along with his wife Marian Wisberg.
A memorial service will be arranged at a later date.
