Obituary

On April 29th 2022, surrounded by loving family, Helen Louise “Beano” Manley Bullock gained her heavenly body.
She filled her family with love, laughter and the most amazing stories imaginable. From the minute her blue eyes opened in this world on November 6th 1951 she was loved. She was the youngest child of eight children and most definitely a Daddy’s girl. She loved her family and she never met a stranger. She was the most loving and giving person to everyone she met. Her smile could light up a room and her laughter could make you laugh even if you were sad. She loved to walk and she was known to strike out on an adventure at anytime. She loved Pepsi and she drank enough to keep them in business and she was the band Alabama’s biggest fan. Her parents, children, aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and huge collection of cousins would not be who they are if she hadn’t been the loving person she was. She loved Jesus and leaned on him for strength on many occasions. He was waiting to take her to her heavenly home on Monday morning and she left with him, knowing her, she surely danced along the way.

Please be with us on Monday May 2nd 2022 as we give her goodbye celebration at Graceland Mortuary. Her family will receive friends at 12:00pm with her funeral service at 1:00pm and a graveside service to follow.
Stories are welcome to be shared and singing along to her favorite songs are encouraged. She was a beautiful, unique soul and we hope to have a ceremony that she would be proud of.

She was preceded in death by her parents Roscoe Wagner Manley and Eva Mae Burnett Manley Timms, step parents Lloyd Timms and Vivian Ann Manley, brothers Albert and Calvin Manley, sister Betty Manley Neighbors, nephews Douglas Neighbors and Albert Manley Jr, nieces Kathy Phillips Moore and Frances Roberts, brother-in-laws Chris Neighbors, G.C. Her sisters Margaret Manley Phillips (G.C), Shirley Manley Motes (Preston), Ruthie Manley Bryant (Gary), Jean Manley ....(Joe), Melissa Manley Evett, Vickie Burris and Sherry Manley Moody. Her nieces Wanda Neighbors Brooks, Donna Phillips Anderson,Sheila Mote Watt (Mike), Tammy Bryant, Lori Mote Burnett (Stewart) Eva Roberts, Rene Manley. Her nephews Billy Neighbors, George Phillips Jr, Earl Mote, Raymond Mote, and Gary Bryant Jr. Her great-nieces and nephews, Jennifer Watt Lopez, Rodney Mote, Gary Bryant III, Amanda Few Watson, Stephanie Mote Clement, Desiree Mote, Samantha Mote, Brittany Bunnell Bannister, Morgan Bunnell and McKenzie Bagwell.
