Obituary

Longtime Estacada resident Harold Widman, died in Oregon City on Monday, November 18, 2019. He was 87. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Estacada Community Fellowship followed by a committal service at Springwater Cemetery. Harold Orrin Widman, Jr. was born February 21, 1932 in Estacada, Oregon to Harold and Edna (Kaake) Widman. He was raised in Portland where he graduated from Benson High School in 1950. On January 2, 1955 he married Carol Curths in Portland. They lived in Portland where they started their family. For most of his working career Harold worked as a machinist and for PGE. They moved to Eagle Creek in 1971 and to Estacada in 1994 when he retired. Carol died in 2002. Harold enjoyed hunting, being in the outdoors, traveling and in his younger days, riding motorcycles. Survivors include his children, Star Youngberg, Vicki Valentine, Lori Widman, Bill Widman; 13 grandchildren and numerus great grandchildren.

I would like to send my Love and Prayers to the family of Harold. Thanks for sharing your dad with me I Loved him. He was a Loving man to me. I will never forget having breakfast at the Country Restaurant and he would come in and call me his girlfriend. I will miss giving him those kisses Lori Lee
