Obituary

Gerald Louis Prado, was a lifelong resident of Crescent City, CA and Yurok Tribal Member. He was born on March 8, 1989 in West Covina, California and passed away on January 12, 2021 in Bend, Oregon.

He attended local schools and graduated from Castle Rock. He was currently employed with Trees Inc. for 4 years where he worked with his good friends Charlie and Dray. Prior to working there Gerald worked at restaurants where he developed his passion to cook.

He loved having gatherings at his beautiful home where he could barbecue and entertain his family and friends. Gerald loved watching sports, his favorite teams were the Cowboys and Lakers. He also loved hunting, fishing, and taking his babies to visit his sisters out of town.

Gerald was a loving Dad, a wonderful Son, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, Cousin, and Loyal Friend.
Family was everything to him and he was an extraordinary Dad to his children. He was proud of his nephews and all of their accomplishments. He loved watching Orion and Louis make it to the UFC.

He took great pride in teaching them everything they knew (as Gerald would say).
His friends were also a huge part of his heart. His love radiated everywhere he went and he left an impression on everybody he crossed paths with.
