Obituary
Longtime Boring resident, Gary Lindquist, passed away at his home with his family by his side on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. He was 68 years old.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, January 22, 2018, at Imago Dei Community 1302 SE Ankeny St, Portland, OR 97214. Private Burial will follow at Willamette National Cemetery.
Gary Lee Lindquist was born November 6, 1949, in Portland, Oregon to Fred and Caroline Lindquist who passed away while he was still young. He was raised by Dick and Marylou Peznecker in the Portland area and graduated from Marshall High School. He married Janet on September 7, 1974, and then went to OIT where he received his bachelor degree in mechanical engineering. In 1980 they moved to Boring where they raised their three children. For most of his working career, he owned and operated L&L Fabrication and Machining. He later ran and operated a small fabrication shop out of his personal residence, which is where he worked until he passed.
Gary enjoyed riding and restoring British motorcycles and taking cruises with Janet in their later years. Survivors include his wife, Janet; daughter, Linsea; sons, Nathan and Seth; and 5 grandchildren Jacob, Lucy, John, Levi, and Olive.
