Longtime Eagle Creek resident, Garrett Ward, died at his home in Estacada on Monday, August 17, 2020. He was 30 years old. A private celebration of his life was held. Garrett Dalton Ward was born January 11, 1990 in Oregon City to Raymond and Carmine (Webb) Ward. They lived in Gladstone until he was 2 years old and moved to Eagle Creek. In 2008 he graduated from Estacada High School. After high school he went to work for Fred Meyer warehouse in the produce department. Later he worked for Dowers Enterprises as a journeyman waterproof specialist. Garrett enjoyed building model planes, woodworking, archery, hunting, motorcycles, video games, skateboarding, and being in the outdoors. Survivors include his parents, Raymond and Carmine Ward; fiancé, Taylor Dowers; sisters Rachelle (Chad) Beatty, Krissadra (Ray) Turk; brother, Ryan (Jessica) Ward; 11 nieces and nephews and 3 great nieces, nephews and Chewy.
