Obituary

Mr. Frederick C. Gergely, 86, of Uniontown, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 at his residence.
He was born in Uniontown on April 6, 1938 to the late Andrew and Mary Janosik Gergely.
Fred married Shirley A. Paull on October 18, 1958.
He retired from Joy Technologies and was a coal miner.
Fred is survived by his wife, Shirley Gergely of Uniontown; daughter, Sherri Gergely of Uniontown; son, Bradley Gergely and wife Lori of California, PA; two grandchildren, Melanie Bibel and husband Mike of Scenery Hill, and Kevin Gergely and wife Tori of Uniontown; two great grandchildren, Aubrey and Lola Bibel; a sister, Andrea McCann and husband Dan of Cranberry; and a brother, Ron Gergely and wife Linda of Hopwood.
Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
