Everett Odell Dobbs

Obituary

Sandy resident Everett Dobbs passed away September 1, 2021. He was 81 years old. Everett was born March 7, 1940, to Floyd Everett Dobbs and Ethel Elizabeth (Spence) in Tulare, California. His family were migrant workers and followed the harvest around Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho and many more states. Everett became a carpenter and when he retired, he was a journeyman carpenter, supervising construction jobs. One of the last places he worked before retirement was Ralph D. McDowell Corp. 

Everett married Cora Naomi Price on March 16, 1961, in Skamania, Washington and they had three children. Everett loved spending time with his children camping, hunting and fishing. He also loved to golf.

Everett is survived by: his brother Gary Dobbs(Sharon), sisters Bonita Tolbert and  Tracy Hall(David). Children:  Darrell Dobbs and Terry Dobbs(Marne) and grandchildren: Terri, Elizabeth, Steven, Kyle and Dezirae, and many great grandchildren.

Everett was also survived by his son Alan Dobbs who unfortunately passed soon after his father.
