Obituary
Evelyn Shirley Wagner Bryde, 98, passed away April 9, 2024 at Vista Springs Timber Ridge in East Lansing, Michigan surrounded by family and friends as she made her heavenly journey. She was preceded in death by her husband Francis D. of 58 years. She was born May 25, 1925 in Evart, Michigan. She is survived by her children, Dr. Dennis Duane Bryde and wife, Dawn; Ellen Jean Bryde Boettcher and her husband, Theodore; and James Lee Bryde and his wife, Judy. Evelyn was blessed with 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Evelyn will be remembered for her beautiful flower gardens, quick laugh, and her many crafts. In retirement Evelyn and Francis enjoyed conducting Airstream caravans in the USA, Canada, Mexico, and Central America.
Services for Evelyn will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Pennway Church of God - 1101 E. Cavanaugh Road - Lansing, MI 48910. Visitation will begin at 12pm until the time of the service at 1pm. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens - 4444 W. Grand River Avenue - Lansing, MI 48906.
