Obituary

CRESCENT CITY Eugene Lewis Baker, died December 21, 2011, at home in his sleep.

Born March 21, 1937 in Artesia CA. He spent most of his working life in San Luis Obispo, CA, retiring as a Fire Chief for the State of California. After retiring he established Baker's Mobile RV repair, helping his fellow RV'ers stay on the road for nearly 20 years.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia, of Crescent City; son, Mike Baker and wife, Leona, of Paso Robles; son Steve Baker and wife, Wendy, of Meadow Vista; and four grandchildren, Nick, Justin, Caleb, and Devin.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm, Friday, December 30th at Reis Family Mortuary, 991 Nipomo St., San Luis Obispo. Private interment will take place at the Los Osos Valley Memorial Park in Los Osos, CA.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the BPOE Elks Lodge #1689, PO Box 596, Crescent City, CA 95531.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wier's Mortuary Chapel of Crescent City, CA.
