Edna Victoria Rosa was more than a woman; she symbolized resilience. She faced and conquered numerous adversities yet never let her vulnerabilities show. Her unwavering determination to be the foundation for her family's growth and success is a testament to her strength and character.
While Edna projected strength to the world, her truest confidantes and dearest friends were her loving siblings, particularly her three sisters. They were not just her pillars of support but the very bedrock of her life. Whether it was for a night of dancing or a shoulder to lean on, they were always there, their love and support unwavering.
Edna's legacy carries on as a mother to six, grandmother to eleven, great-grandmother to seventeen, and great-great-grandmother to one. She took immense joy in their achievements and life aspirations. Her love for them was not always expressed in words, but it was felt in the way she celebrated their successes and stood by them during special times.
Edna's legacy is not just in the essential qualities, features, and gestures she passed on to her family. It is in the unique and loving sense of humor that they all inherited from her. Her sarcastic wit and playful banter brought joy and laughter into their lives, creating cherished memories that will be forever treasured.
Edna was a woman of many talents and roles, each a testament to her determination to provide for herself and her children as an independent woman, which was unwavering and made her fearlessly. Beyond her family, she excelled in her professional roles, whether it was as a business owner, CNA, hospitality, sales associate, entrepreneur, or even a New York City taxi driver; no job was too small for her. Her love for life was felt as Edna relished the simple pleasures of being outdoors and taking in the beauty of the world around her. She was a woman of strong faith who firmly believed in the power of prayer. She trusted in God's guidance and found comfort in knowing everything was in His hands. She was greatly loved and will be truly missed.
