In Loving Memory of Dorothy A. Brown
December 2, 1937 – May 29, 2025

Dorothy A. Brown, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on December 2, 1937, Dorothy lived a life filled with love, faith, and dedication to her family.

Dorothy loved the Lord with all her heart and found great joy in reading the Word of God. She was a Godly woman like no other—always an example of grace, kindness, and steadfast faith. Her life was a testament to the love and strength she found in her faith and in her family.

Dorothy is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Henry, and her precious son, baby Henry, whom she cherished deeply. She was also preceded in death by her dear sister, Sylvia. She is survived by her brother, Greg (Nettie) Peralta.

Dorothy is also survived by her loving children: Damita (Steve) Martin, Peter Brown, Christy (Bill) Loftin, and Tyann (Rich) Chandler. She was a proud grandmother to Corrina (Justin) Piercy, Jennifer (Chris) Harwood, Christopher (Jodie) Loftin, Derrick Martin, and Ryan Brown. Dorothy found immense joy as a great-grandmother to Devin Wright, Jace Piercy, Kaylynn Joy, Landon Martin, Blake Loftin, and Carson Loftin. Her love extended even further to her great-great-grandchild, Navy Wright.

Dorothy was also cherished by her nephews Gregory Peralta, Tracy (Wendy) Cadwell, and her nieces Carol Wilson, Darla Camez, and Karen Keeley.

Dorothy’s greatest joy was being with her family, sharing in their lives, and watching them grow. She will be remembered for her unwavering love, her quiet strength, and the faith that guided her every step.

Dorothy’s family will forever treasure the memories they shared with her and the legacy of love and faith she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and always remembered.
