Obituary
Donna Schnier, Erwin, TN, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. She was 83 years old. Donna was born in New Boston, OH to her parents Earnest and Ada Douglas. Donna married her husband, Henry Lee Schnier in 1960 and they shared 60 years of marriage together until Henry passed away in December of 2020.
Donna worked as a cafeteria worker for Indianapolis School District and retired after 20 years of service. Donna enjoyed going bowling and playing card games. She was a strategic bridge player. Donna was a member of the Eastern Star. Donna’s outgoing personality and social nature will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Linda (Jeff) Finley; her grandchildren, Jayson Finley, Ben Stevens, Victoria Finley, and Heather Jackson; her great grandchildren, Damion Robbins, Jacob Stevens, Maya Jackson, Vanessa Jackson, Dakoda Finley, Javion Dixon, Marcel Dixon, Ellie Finley and Alana Finley; her several nieces and nephews.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her five siblings; her three sons and one daughter.
A visitation for Donna will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 11:00 am.
