Donald Edward Long, beloved by many people, passed away on February 19th, 2025, at his residence surrounded by love. He was 87 years old.
Donald, the beloved son of Leo and Eleanor Long, was born in Winters, California. He moved to Crescent City 60 years ago.
Donald was a truck driver for many years. He drove for Dahlstrom’s and Watts and Simonson Lumber Company. In the 70’s, Donald and his brother, Jim Long, opened Long Bros. Autobody and after Jim’s passing in 1974, Don continued to be the owner operator of Long’s Autobody for 45 years.
Donald is survived by his wife, Debi Long.
