Obituary

Debbie passed away peacefully, at home, after a courageous battle with cancer. Debbie was predeceased by her parents, brother Patrick and loving stepfather Leo Johnson. She is survived by her spouse of 26 years, Bob Rockwell, her daughter Samona Dowler and son in-law Michael, grandchildren Devin and Ellie, siblings Butch, Vickie, Diane and her aunt Carol. Debbie was born in Portland to Janet Seeley Johnson and Orbie Hoffman and graduated from Marshall High School. She worked as a bartender/waitress, mostly in the Sandy area and at Stone Creek Golf Course in Oregon City with her best friend Maggie. She was known to be “the life of the party” and was well known by the locals. Debbie loved her daughter and grandchildren. She loved to travel, sunbathe, dance, gamble, shop, read, garden, movies, jigsaw puzzles and to decorate home and garden. She wanted her celebration of life to be held at “No Place Saloon” in Sandy. It will be “Debbie’s Last Party” on Saturday, June 12, 2p.m. at “No Place”. Debbie had many friends so please join us for this celebration. She will be missed by all.
