In Loving Memory of

Dean Brigance

September 26th, 1949 - January 30th, 2024

Obituary

Dearld Dean Brigance, 74, of Willard, MO joined his wife in heaven on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the Cox South Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on Monday, September 26, 1949 in Springfield, MO as one of three children to Phyllis June Roberts and Keith Dillard Brigance.

Dean lived in the Springfield/Willard area before moving to Topeka, KS in the mid 50's. While there, he participated in Cub Scouts. Dean moved back to Willard in the 60's and graduated from Willard High School in 1968. Following graduation, he married Linda Bell in the summer of 1968 and to this union two children were born. Throughout his life, Dean held many trades-man titles in his line of work. Be it construction or 20+ years at Redneck Trailer Supply. He was always fond of animals, raising hogs and cattle, but his pride and joy were his horses. Dean was a member of the AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association) and the Everton Saddel Club. He could always be found on the weekends riding trails all around Southwest Missouri or working in his shop. If it was a Sunday afternoon, you could find him in his recliner watching NASCAR.

Dean was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, one brother-in- law John Young, one nephew Randy Young and one grandson Shelby Brigance.

He is survived by his two children Shelly Lynn Brigance and Jeffrey Dean Brigance, two sisters Mary Russell (husband Terry) and Barbara Young, three grandchildren Dallas Wicklund (wife Samantha), Tyler "TK" Brigance and Nicole Brigance, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
