Obituary

David James Kraft was born May 18th, 1953 to Jack and Beth Kraft in Yakima, Washington. After an extended illness, he passed away in Crescent City on December 20th,2021.

David attended Crescent City schools and later obtained his counseling credentials at Lassen Community College, Susanville CA. He spent 8 years as a counselor for a court-mandated program providing drug and alcohol counseling in Quincy, California. Because of worsening health conditions, David returned to live in Crescent City in January 2018.

David was a humble man with a quick wit and generous spirit and was loved by everyone who knew him. We all enjoyed his puns, his ability to see the humor in everything, and his desire to help others.

David is survived by his two best girls, Brandy Kraft, his daughter, and his granddaughter, Bethany Dahlsten, who were so dear to his heart.
David also leaves his sisters, Dianne Bennett, Mickey Holcomb, Jackie Wilson, and brother, Tom Kraft, all of Crescent City, CA. He also leaves nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

We will miss him every day, but know heaven has gained a very special angel.

There will be a celebration of life on a date yet to be determined
