Obituary

Darrin Matthew Korynta, 59, passed away unexpectedly on July 1, 2025. Born on September 24, 1965, in Portland, Oregon, Darrin was the cherished son of Donald and Sharon Korynta. He graduated from Franklin High School and devoted his life to a fulfilling career as a plasterer in the construction industry, contributing his skills and talent to the community he loved.
In 1999, Darrin made the move to Eagle Creek, Oregon, where he continued to embrace the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in hiking, hunting, and fishing, making the most of the natural wonders around him.

Darrin's legacy lives on through his beloved children: Tina, D.J., Matthew, Travis, Shanina and Justin. He is also survived by his mother, Sharon, his siblings Denise, Dan, and Sheila, as well as three precious grandchildren, Deion, Phoenix, and Paisley, who brought happiness to his life.

Darrin will be remembered for his passionate spirit, love for the outdoors, and the profound impact he had on those who knew him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
