Obituary

Darlene Jo Curry was born on August 14th 1952 in Milwaukee, WI to Burdella and Charles Alfsen.

She was one of six daughters. She attended Franklin High School Class of 1970, in Portland, OR.

After school she worked for Portland Public Schools followed by other jobs mostly focused on office work. Throughout her life she has lived in New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, back home to Oregon then lastly, she lived in Goldendale, WA with her fiancé Mr. Kevin Kelley.

Darlene loved spending time with her family, has always loved the outdoors and nature. She has always been an avid gardener; she does wonderful glass etching as well as being a fantastic seamstress. She's been making one of a kind garters belts for all of the ladies in our family as well as good friends. Her on-going sewing project has been making facemasks. She didn't charge people any money for them, she just did it out of the kindness of her heart. She made children's sizes, adult and adults with full beard sized masks as well.

Darlene enjoyed listening to music, dancing, laughing and just loving life. She was a beautiful bright happy lady with fantastic legs and will Forever be missed!!

She was preceded in death by; her father Charles Alfsen, her mother Burdella Miller, her sister Sonya Alfsen, her late husband Michael Curry and her youngest daughter Lillian Joy Thompson. She is survived by; her fiancé Kevin Kelley, her four sisters, her children; Jessica Ferraris, James Stapp, Lawrence Stapp and Lisa Lackman. Also, her grandchildren; Emily, Halee, Jacob, Kirin, Taryn and Callie.
