Obituary

Curt Singleterry, 70, of Molalla passed away in his home on Sept. 6th after a 2 year battle with cancer. The son of Gaylord and Virginia Singleterry. Curt has lived in Molalla since 2009. He was in the auto body and paint industry for 52 yrs. He was a member of the True Life Church and enjoyed reading the bible. He was never afraid to share his testimony, of how God rescued him and saved him. His life touched many. He enjoyed cars and racing and was known for restoring classic cars, and fender-benders too. He was the owner of "Curts Classics". He was a member of the Molalla Moose Lodge. He is survived by his beloved wife, Vickie; daughters, Diane Kitt of Mulino and Ginny Cheney of Washington; sons, Merv Singleterry of Mulino and Michael Lawsen of New Mexico; step-son, Frank Chavez of Clackamas; step-daughter-in-law, Shari Singleterry of Mulino; 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. A Graveside service will be held Thursday, Sept. 12th at 11:00 am at the Elwood Cemetery, Colton followed by a luncheon and gathering at their home. Feel free to bring your classic car or truck if you have one. Memorial contributions may be may to Love Offering at True Life Church, Colton.
